Sit down for this one, kids. Jon Bon Jovi (*quiver* *swoon* *slobber*) was on “American Idol” tonight. And I? MISSED IT!

Look, threre was alcohol involved. Since when do I say no to THAT?!?! 😉 The way I figure, Jon would have brought me a single hour of happy. But instead, I had three hours at happy hour, so really, that seems a fair exchange, no?

Don’t worry, I’ll catch the band’s performance tomorrow night. I’m not a TOTAL heathen — I wouldn’t miss my favorite boy two nights in a row, would I now?

My friend just invited me to come down to the Carolinas for a break from reality. Hmm. I DO have a plane-ticket credit from last year’s canceled vacation plans. Methinks I finally have a destination I can live with. …

I don’t know about the rest of the office, but I’m hoping the universe replenishes our supply of southern pecan, chocolate raspberry and swiss chocolate almond coffee pods. (I settled for hazelnut today.) Are they trying to force my resignation? Sheesh. 😉
