In the wee small hours of the morning ...
... Kadi disappeared! UPDATE: Mommy found her!
Mommy's combed the house and walked around our new neighborhood. We last saw Kadi at her food dish around "American Idol" time last night. We think that Kadi might have jumped off the balcony, because she's not here anywhere.
Kadi's never done anything like this. She might drive me nuts, sure, but she's always played outside very nicely.
I don't know what to do. Mommy looks sick and sad and we're new to this neighborhood, so no one knows we're here. We're indoor cats, so this isn't supposed to happen! I don't know how I can help.
I hope she comes back. Maybe Mommy will be happy again.
I miss you, little sister.

I'm so sorry about your missing Kadi. I have lost pets before it's a horrible feeling. Our prayers are with you and Kadi. Check the pound, notice the neighborhood, ad in the paper. She's a beautiful cat and someone probably is feeding her.....
I'm pleased to report that Kadi is back and other than being a little scared, she's doing fine. I retraced my steps and I think she knew I had been where I ended up finding her. Brat. ;) I think we'll be revoking balcony privileges for a LONG time to come. ... Thank you for your kind thoughts because I know they helped!
Oh, I'm SO GLAD you found her. I have an indoor cat and when I can't seem to find him in his usual places in the house, my heart starts racing until I see him coming out of a new hiding/napping place. Big sigh of relief for you and Kadi and Maddie.

Oh good, our (collective) prayers are answered! Welcome home brat-cat!!! Happy endings are always a good deal in my book!!
I'm SO glad Kadi was found! Not a lot scarier than a missing kitty baby.
Holy crap in a box! I'm so glad she was found!
My cousin, Zig, loves to be on Auntie's balcony. Let's hope she understands it's no picnic to leap from the 3rd floor...
Welcome back, Kadi...bad cat!
Whew! Shit, I am glad I didn't catch up on my blog reading while this was still going on...I would'nt have slept either. So glad she is home and safe!
Oh I'm so glad you found her. I remember one time I went to jump on the window sill and the screen popped out. I fell down two stories into a bush and had to wait until the Mom got home from work before I could get back inside. I was really scared. It's good to hear that Kadi is ok.
I'm glad you found your sister!
